A Grand Celebration was held Wednesday June 12th at 7:30
It was an evening to celebrate the success of “Quilts on the Grand 2024” and say thank you to all of you, for all of your hard work!!
There was a slide presentation of the highlights of the show including some behind the scenes pictures of the fun and follies at the Quilt Show.
The CQA (Canadian Quilters’ Association) rosette was presented to the Viewers’ Choice and the Guild rosettes were awarded to the creators and quilters of other favourites at the show. During the short business portion of the meeting we thanked the members of the current executive and met the members of the new executive for 2024-25.
There was plenty of time to socialize and enjoy the strawberries, cake and refreshments provided by the Social Committee.
Our first meeting of 2024-25 will be September 11 at the Fergus Legion. Details will be available in late August.
