The Guild meets on the second Wednesday of each month, ten times a year, at the Royal Canadian Legion – Fergus Branch, 500 Blair Street, Fergus, Ontario. The first meeting of the Guild year is in September. There are no meetings in July or August.
Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. Doors open ½ hour before that. This enables members to use the Library. Meetings conclude at 9:30 p.m.
Meetings may feature guest speakers, trunk shows, hands-on activities or mini workshops.
Each meeting has a ‘Show & Tell’ presentation. If you have something special that you would like to show others, we encourage you to bring it. This can be a project you are working on or have completed. It can be quilt related – a great book, a new gadget, an auction sale ‘find’. For many, this is a favourite part of the meetings. You may choose to show your items on a specified table during the meeting and later we will call on you to tell your story. We ask for a limit of 3 items/person/meeting.
